One of the most repeated statements in the book of Leviticus is when God says this: “I am the Lord your God.” God wants a relationship with His people. Make Me a Servant
From Sin to Sacrifice is an apt title for our readings this week. We moved from Exodus 32 where Israel built an idol in the form of a golden calf, to Leviticus where God is teaching the people how to do the sacrifices so they can be forgiven for their sins.
Law, Love and Marriage
When God called Israel to be His people Israel needed to call God their God. The Law was given so God and Israel could become united. This union would later be considered a bond of marriage. God became Israel’s husband, and she His bride. Let’s unpack some of the implications of this in our lesson today.
