Jesus paved the path to glory for us. He invites us to join Him. It leads us into the shadow of suffering for a while, but ultimately into eternal glory with Him. To be ready for glory, we must share in His suffering.
Saving mission puts us in the spiritual war zone. There is where souls are won or lost. The gospel is the power of God to save all who believe, and yet there are many who in disbelief will oppose and even persecute those that share it. This has been the case from the very beginning. We must arm ourselves for action and be ready to fight the good fight.
The saving work of Jesus Christ is above and beyond our comprehension. God’s love in Christ can never be earned, but it can and must be shared. Those who are lost need to know the Savior. The saved are commissioned to share the gospel of salvation even when it brings ridicule and persecution.
Finishing well as a father has never been more challenging. God’s word gives us the path to follow if we would accomplish this vital mission for our families.
