Local Ministries

Ephesians 4:16 – From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
In our church family, we have many ministry opportunities. If you’re looking for a place to serve the Lord by serving others, there’s a place for your here with us! Below we have a list of all local events for families, men, women, teens & children. Further below we have a listing of all of our foreign ministries that Signal Mountain Church of Christ helps support. Here are some available opportunities in which to serve & grow:

For all & families

    • Worship Services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. – Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
    • Bible Classes are available for all ages each Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. and Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
    • Various Young Family group activities
    • Ladies’, men’s, and/or family retreats are planned yearly.


      • Men’s Prayer group meets Thursday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the church building
      • Men’s prayer and Bible discussion meeting at McDonald’s, on Signal Mountain, Mondays, at 7:15 a.m.


      • Ladies Prayer Group on Sunday evenings at 5:15
      • Ladies’ Classes – Thursday mornings at 9:30 and Thursday evenings at 7:00

Children & Teens

      • Son Kids program for ages Kindergarten through 4th grade on Sunday evenings during regular service time
      • Middle and High School Bible study group on Sunday evenings during regular service time
      • Monthly Teen devotionals and activities

Missions & Involvement

    • Stateside Missions, during the summer months, offer individuals and families opportunities to serve the Lord in the mission field. We have worked in Minnesota, New York state, and Florida.
    • Foreign Mission trips are available for individuals and families who desire a challenge both in love and language to serve. Our destinations can vary.
    • Inner City Ministry offers the chance to serve young people in our local area, by introducing them to the love of the Lord. The opportunity is available during the school year on Monday evenings.
    • Martin-Boyd Sunday Services – Each Sunday afternoon in November a worship service is conducted, Martin-Boyd Home in Tyner, by members of the Signal Mountain church.

Missions we support

Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

The Signal Mountain congregation supports local, regional, national, and international mission activities of individuals working to educate, inform and preach the good news of the Christian life in Jesus Christ.
